Facebook competition continues

The Pascoe Pop Art Facebook competition continues to be a hotly contested event with hundreds of fans voting for their favourite pop art portrait.

The June competition theme was "Kids Pop Art", with the 3 finalists below:

Voting came right down to the wire before Finalist Number 2 just scraped in with 340 votes, Finalist 3 was closely behind on 292 votes and Finalist 1 received 171.  Thank you to all contestants, voters and of course, kids who kindly donated their cuteness for the photos!

Pascoe Pop Art Competition - Feb 2010

The ever-popular Pascoe Pop Art competition is back for 2010. Entries for February are now open.

How it works:
Send us your most 'Pop'-worthy pics and in Round 1, our fans will vote on which ones they think will make great pop art. If your entry is one of the top 3 voted, we'll turn it into a bold and bright pop art image.

Then in Round 2, these 3 pop art portraits will go to the vote once more. The lucky winner of Round 2 will receive their FREE pop art portrait, printed on canvas and delivered to their door. The runner-up will receive a Pascoe Pop Art gift certificate.

Pop My Art competition June winner

We've just given away another free Pop Art portrait as our monthly competition continues. It was another really close one this month, with two of the finalists battling it out to the very end. Congratulations to the winner - the gorgeous smiling face you see below - your canvas portrait is on its way.

The first round really came down to the wire with the race for third place being decided in the last 5 minutes of the competition!

April-May Competition Results

Thank you to everyone who entered and voted in this month's competition, and especially to our 3 wonderful finalists!

Pop Art number 1, the "candy-striped" wedding shot, has taken the prize with a total of 92 votes. Congratulations! You will receive your portrait, printed on canvas and stretched, ready-to-hang, on your doorstep shortly.

Pop My Art Competition - April entries open

We are now accepting entries for the latest Pop My Art competition.

Simply send us your snaps that you think will look good in Pop Art and tell us in a few words why your photo should be "popped". At the end of April, we'll publish the finalists' photos on the Pascoe Pop Art website. Our customers and visitors will vote on the winner.

They don't have to be high resolution professional shots. Some of our favourite artworks have actually been based on low-resolution, low-light shots taken with camera phones - check out the Pascoe Pop Art online gallery for examples of before and after shots. Try looking for creative angles, animated or thoughtful expressions and interesting poses instead.

Here's exactly what to do:

1. Email me (rachel@pascoepopart.com) with "Pop My Art Please" in the subject line and attach some of your favourite digital pics that you think would look good in Pop Art.
2. Tell me in a few words why you would like to turn these photos into Pop Art.
3. Check back to the site regularly for updates. The top entries will be published on the website at the end of April for our customers and visitors to vote on. The winner will be notified by email, and will receive their Free Pop Art canvas 5-10 working days later.

(Keeping in mind we want to keep our website to a G rating of course!) At the end of February, I'm going to post our favourite 3 shots on this blog, and leave it to a vote. We'll turn the winner's photo into a piece of canvas-printed Pascoe Pop Art and send it to them absolutely free.
